This EP heavily features the Comb Filter in the Elektron Octatrack. It's the obvious link in all of the songs.

They're all variations on a theme. Here's how:

A handful of samples from a eurorack modular + an elektron octatrack turned into evolving patterns. Sixteen patterns turned into 5 songs that share the same sample set as they run through various ideas chasing them down and attempting to behead them.

Incredible album from start to finish. Stumbled on a live video of ''sick face'' on youtube and instantly wanted to buy this record. I hadn't felt such a sense of urgency towards buying an electronic record since my early 00's high school days when I first discovered Aphex Twin & Boards of Canada. This album sits nicely between the two of them but definitely holds its own and is jam packed with some of the most amazing electronic music i've ever heard. the_invisible_chorus
